Word of Life Preschool and Kindergarten classes offer students a Christian based, caring, and nuturing learning environment.

We offer:

 

• Low student-teacher ratios

• Phonemic Awareness taught daily

• Speech Therapist provides evaluation and services on a weekly basis

• Students take part in a weekly pre-reading program with a retired primary level teacher

• Quarterly interactive field trips

• Daily religion lessons with weekly chapel services

• Preschool and Kindergarten music classes

• Active classroom parent aid program (PALS)

• Creative Movement program offered in partnership with  COCA (Centers of Creative Arts) by a certified instructor

• All this and more offered in a Christ-centered, loving environment

WOL Preschool & Kindergarten Updates Various faculty members, parent volunteers, and association church members came together and met on various occasions to install the new playground for Word of Life Lutheran School’s Early Childhood Campus. Once the playground was complete, the Early Childhood Campus came together as Paul Biber, pastor at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, said a prayer and blessing for all of the children that will use this structure throughout the years. This new playground was made possible by funds that were generated by Word of Life’s Parent-Teacher League, church groups from Ascension Lutheran Church, Timothy Lutheran Church and St. Lucas Lutheran Church, more specifically including the St. Lucas Men’s Club and the St. Lucas Mom’s Day Out program. Private donations were also made to help the Early Childhood Campus with this project.  The project included ground excavating, the new play structure, and Rubberific ground cover and timbers enclosing the play area all installed by volunteers.
